When it is necessary Jim will take cases to litigation in both the Superior Courts and before the Office of Administrative Hearings. However, an experienced lawyer will make an effort to find resolution and settlement to avoid lengthy and expensive litigation. Jim will seek middle ground wherever it makes good legal sense and is in  his client’s best interest. Jim’s experience includes serving as a Settlement Conference Pro Temp in the Sonoma County Superior Court since 2004 and arguing appeals before the Court of Appeals for the First Appellate District of California and the California Supreme Court.
